Kirk Ferguson of NuRenewables Heating is the most knowledgeable heating engineer/plumber I have ever used and performed an absolutely superb job reworking how my entire heating and hot water system was configured for a large extension. This included installing a new boiler, powertank (to improve the water pressure), hot water cylinder, 3 bathrooms and a kitchen amongst other works.

Kirk is a delight to have in the house, is super tidy, but most of all is an expert in his field and applies a scientific approach to his installations to maximise the efficiency for the homeowner.

NuRenewables Heating Ltd have been outstanding from the very start. Every single time I've called them out, they've gone above and beyond what I'd expect — always punctual, polite, and incredibly helpful. The quality of their workmanship is excellent — everything is done thoroughly and to a very high standard.

What really sets them apart is their knowledge and expertise. They've always taken the time to explain things clearly, give honest, sensible advice, and never try to push unnecessary work on me. I really trust their recommendations.

I first met Kirk in 2022, when he came to repair my 14-year-old boiler, which really should have been replaced years earlier. He managed to get it working again until I was able to afford a new one, and was friendly and honest about what needed doing. In 2023, he came back to install the new boiler, and I was really happy with the service.

Since then, I’ve recommended Kirk to friends and people in the community. He serviced the boiler at my new home in 2025, and he’ll be back soon to redo my bathroom. I can’t fault his service: he’s friendly, honest and reasonably priced. I’d happily recommend him.

The engineer was booked to service my boiler on 8 April 26, and he arrived on time and introduced himself. Once he had finish servicing my boiler, he explained what work he did. I had no issue with the work he carried out. He was very professional and knowledgeable in his job. Any questions I had regarding the boiler he answered. I would definitely use them again to service my boiler
