We install new and replacement gas boilers as a Gas Safe registered engineer and accredited installer for Vaillant, Viessmann, Intergas and ATAG. Because we install both, we can explain the options and recommend what suits your home.
In Hertfordshire, we replaced two 25 kW boilers with one 32 kW boiler in a renovated and extended house, after our heat loss survey came to 24.5 kW, where previous quotes suggested another boiler to reach 65 kW. Kirk Ferguson of NuRenewables Heating is the most knowledgeable heating engineer/plumber I have ever used and performed an absolutely superb job reworking how my entire heating and hot water system was configured for a large extension. This included installing a new boiler, powertank (to improve the water pressure), hot water cylinder, 3 bathrooms and a kitchen amongst other works.

How do you size a heat pump?
From accurate heat loss calculations, worked out for the coldest days of the year. At our Bushey install the heat loss was 10.8 kW at the design outside temperature of -2.3°C. More in why we calculate for the building as it is today
Do you only work on heat pumps?
No. We also install gas boilers, central heating and underfloor heating, and service boilers and heat pumps.
