Is it right for you?

Is this what your home needs?

A good fit if

  • Rooms that never get properly warm, or radiators that are slow to heat up
  • An old system at the end of its life, or a renovation that needs a new one
  • You'd like underfloor heating in some rooms and radiators in others

Probably not the right fit if

  • Only your boiler needs replacing and the rest of the system works well. See boilers
  • You're ready for a heat pump now. Start with heat pumps

We explain the available options and recommend solutions based on your home's requirements, rather than simply selling equipment.

Cost

What affects the cost of central heating work

How we price

Every situation is different, including distance and other factors, so we don't list prices.

Quotations follow a property assessment and technical survey.

What moves the price

  • The size of your home. How many rooms, and how much heat each one needs
  • New, replacement or upgrade. A whole system, or only the parts holding it back
  • Radiators. How many need replacing or resizing
  • Pipework. Access under floors and through walls, and whether pipes need upsizing
  • Controls and the heat source. The boiler or heat pump the system runs from

What's included

  • Technical surveys
  • Heating design
  • Equipment selection
  • Installation
  • Commissioning
  • System handover
  • Aftercare
  • Manufacturer warranties and any additional service arrangements, explained within the quotation

Kirk Ferguson of NuRenewables Heating is the most knowledgeable heating engineer/plumber I have ever used and performed an absolutely superb job reworking how my entire heating and hot water system was configured for a large extension. This included installing a new boiler, powertank (to improve the water pressure), hot water cylinder, 3 bathrooms and a kitchen amongst other works.

Kirk is a delight to have in the house, is super tidy, but most of all is an expert in his field and applies a scientific approach to his installations to maximise the efficiency for the homeowner.

Shuaib Q.Google review · October 2026

Kirk and his team have been excellent in their assessment of our heating and plumbing issues. Professional friendly accessible and caring. Also responsive to any queries many months after the job. Our boiler was replaced and multiple plumbing issues. If you want first class service please contact Kirk!
