Kirk is a master, he helped me to decide which heat pump was suitable for my property,
He take care of everything from the start to the end of the job.
I very impressed of his knowledge. Very recommend.

Antony S.Google review · October 2026

Kirk Ferguson of NuRenewables Heating is the most knowledgeable heating engineer/plumber I have ever used and performed an absolutely superb job reworking how my entire heating and hot water system was configured for a large extension. This included installing a new boiler, powertank (to improve the water pressure), hot water cylinder, 3 bathrooms and a kitchen amongst other works.

Kirk is a delight to have in the house, is super tidy, but most of all is an expert in his field and applies a scientific approach to his installations to maximise the efficiency for the homeowner.

NuRenewables Heating Ltd have been outstanding from the very start. Every single time I've called them out, they've gone above and beyond what I'd expect — always punctual, polite, and incredibly helpful. The quality of their workmanship is excellent — everything is done thoroughly and to a very high standard.

What really sets them apart is their knowledge and expertise. They've always taken the time to explain things clearly, give honest, sensible advice, and never try to push unnecessary work on me. I really trust their recommendations.

On top of that, the pricing is exceptional value for money — fair, transparent, and worth every penny. And what truly impresses me most is the ongoing support and service after the job is finished. They don't just disappear — they're there whenever I need them, ready to help with any questions or follow-up.

If you're looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, and trustworthy heating company, look no further. I'm so glad I found them — highly recommended! Thank you for such wonderful service every time.

Kirk and his team have been excellent in their assessment of our heating and plumbing issues. Professional friendly accessible and caring. Also responsive to any queries many months after the job. Our boiler was replaced and multiple plumbing issues. If you want first class service please contact Kirk!

Kylie P.Google review · October 2026

I first met Kirk in 2022, when he came to repair my 14-year-old boiler, which really should have been replaced years earlier. He managed to get it working again until I was able to afford a new one, and was friendly and honest about what needed doing. In 2023, he came back to install the new boiler, and I was really happy with the service.

Since then, I’ve recommended Kirk to friends and people in the community. He serviced the boiler at my new home in 2025, and he’ll be back soon to redo my bathroom. I can’t fault his service: he’s friendly, honest and reasonably priced. I’d happily recommend him.

Glen B.Google review · October 2026

The engineer was booked to service my boiler on 8 April 26, and he arrived on time and introduced himself. Once he had finish servicing my boiler, he explained what work he did. I had no issue with the work he carried out. He was very professional and knowledgeable in his job. Any questions I had regarding the boiler he answered. I would definitely use them again to service my boiler

Questions

Your questions, answered

Will a heat pump heat my home properly?

It's one of the questions customers ask most. Rather than relying on assumptions, we calculate your home's heating requirement, assess your existing radiators or underfloor heating, and consider the hydraulic performance of the proposed system. Our aim is to help you make an informed decision, with realistic expectations.

How much will it cost to install?

It depends on your home and the system it needs, so we survey your home, and design the system where it's needed, before we quote. You'll get a detailed quotation with the proposed installation explained, including manufacturer warranties and any service arrangements.

For heat pumps, Heat Geek's ZeroDisrupt can bring the cost to about the price of a new gas boiler after the government grant (Heat Geek's average). Eligibility criteria apply.

What will it cost to run?

Running costs depend on how efficiently the system runs, and that comes down to design, flow temperature and set-up. Our design places a strong emphasis on efficient system operation, and our aim is to help you make an informed decision, with realistic expectations.

Are heat pumps noisy?

Where the outdoor unit goes makes a real difference to how it sounds, for you and your neighbours. We address concerns like noise through careful assessment, transparent explanations and detailed heating system design.

How much disruption will there be?

We address concerns about disruption through careful assessment, transparent explanations and detailed heating system design, and your quotation explains the proposed installation. Project timescales vary depending on the size and complexity of the installation.

Will I need new radiators?

Not always. We assess your existing radiators or underfloor heating as part of the design, and recommend solutions based on your home's requirements.

Which areas do you cover?

London, including North London, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Essex. Not sure if you're covered? Send your postcode and we'll let you know. See the areas we cover.

Do you only install heat pumps?

No. We also install and replace gas boilers, upgrade and install complete central heating systems, and design and install underfloor heating, including for new builds, extensions and major refurbishments. And we service boilers and heat pumps.

What's included?

Depending on your project: a technical survey, heating design, equipment selection, installation, commissioning, handover and aftercare. Manufacturer warranties and any service arrangements are set out in your quotation.

Can the ground beneath your home help keep it warm?

Are we paying enough attention to the building before deciding how much heating it needs? Understand the building first. Design the heating system second.
